Unreasonable Behaviour Policy

This policy applies to all clients, members of the public, third parties and businesses.

This policy is to state that Orange Property Services UK Ltd and Orange Estate Agents Ltd or any of their employees are always willing to assist, however will not liaise with persons which are abusive or unreasonable.

Unreasonable behaviour can include (but not limited to):

  • Rudeless (for example, swearing, persistent interruption, name calling or general discourtesy)
  • Anger (for example, shouting)
  • Aggressive behaviour (for example, threats of physical harm to person(s) or property or to self; behaviour which indicates that physical harm to person(s) or property or to self is imminent or actual physical aggression)
  • Manipulative behaviour
  • Repeatedly requesting responses within unreasonable timescales
  • Insisting on speaking to a particular member of staff
  • Refusal to accept explanations as to what TPO can and cannot do
  • No accepting our processes or timescales
  • Repeated or irrelevant calls, emails or letters
  • Reiterating the same points in communications, despite points being previously addressed

Please also note in the rare case of this behaviour, limitations may be imposed, i.e. requesting contact in a particular form, limiting contact to a certain method or specified day.
